Factory Default
Warning! Erases everything, camera must be re-added to Alarm.com and WiFi configured
Hold back button for 15 seconds, front LED flashes red and green if successful
WiFi Setup by WPS Mode
WPS enrollment mode is a quick way to connect your camera to your network router
1. Power up camera and wait for 2 minutes until camera LED turns red
2. Hold back button for 5 seconds then release, LED begins flashing blue
3. Press and release the WPS button on the router or enable WPS in router programming
4. Wait 2 minutes, camera LED turns green if successful or red if failure
WiFi Setup by Access Point
1. Hold back button 6 seconds until camera LED flashes white
2. Go to smartphone WiFi settings, look for ALARM xx:xx:xx then press CONNECT
3. Open web browser, enter 192.168.1.1, camera menu appears, press SCAN
4. Swipe down then select WiFi network then swipe up
5. Enter WiFi encryption then press SUBMIT then OK. Camera beeps, green LED turns ON
Hardwire Connection to Router
Plug Micro cable adapter into camera then plug Ethernet cable into port on router
Add Camera using Customer Website
1. Login to Alarm.com customer website and press VIDEO
2. Press SETTINGS
3. Scroll to bottom of page and press ADD VIDEO DEVICE
4. Camera should be detected enter camera name then press INSTALL
5. Alarm.com downloads information to camera, this may take up to 5 minutes
6. When complete press LIVE VIEW to view camera
Add Camera using Smartphone App
Note: Camera must be connected to customer’s router by WiFi or Ethernet Connection
1. Press top left 3 Bars to access side menu then press VIDEO then top right GEAR icon
2. Press ADD VIDEO DEVICE then press INSTALL then enter camera name then NEXT
3. Camera may take several minutes to configure, press X at top left to exit
Troubleshooting
- Power cycle the camera by unplugging and plugging in power adapter
- Move closer to WiFi router
- If issues persist, try resetting the camera to factory defaults
LED Reference Guide
- Solid Green = Local network and Internet connection OK
- Flashing Green = Local network connection OK, Internet connection bad
- Solid Red = No local network or Internet connection
- Flashing Red = Camera booting
- Flashing Blue = Camera in WPS WiFi learn mode
- Flashing White = Camera in WiFi AP learn mode
- Flashing Yellow = Camera in Bluetooth Pairing mode
